This morning's threat of thunderstorms and high humidity inspired me to forego our 30 mile ride out the Nine Mile Creek Trail, and instead bike an 18 mile route, stopping at the headquarters of the Nine Mile Creek Watershed District. They have a lovely building named Discovery Point, in a park-like natural setting. Peggy serves on the Board of Managers for the district, and showed our group around.
The storms stayed to the south and did not interfere with our ride. We really need the rain, but I was glad that it missed us this morning. Ten Blazers biked today, plus one went on his own to follow the original route. (No picture of him.)
