We left the Hopkins Depot trailhead and traveled west on the Minnesota River Bluffs Trail to 11th Ave where we turned south until it intersected the Nine Mile Trail. We followed the trail over two marshy areas and rode over boardwalks. We turned around at Walnut Ridge Park. On our way back to the depot, there were turkeys on the trail by the Snyder Preserve, adults and juveniles. They quickly ran into the bush as we passed by. When we finished our ride, some of us relaxed in the shade on the Depot deck.
