Explorers With a New Twist on an Old Ride

Peggy was asked to co-lead the Explorers on an old favorite ride, from Shady Oak Lake to Miller Park. We spotted two deer along the trail. Just to make it more interesting, she stopped the group at a new historic landmark along the trail. It's a reconstructed depot (actually a water utility office), with some interesting signage showing the railroad history. It also has a drinking fountain, appropriate to the site, and very convenient on a hot muggy day. The group also added another mile of trails around Miller Park, where we had some views of Mitchell Lake.

Below are pictures at the Eden Prairie Depot.
