Eight riders met at the Minnetonka Community Center and rode West on the Minnetonka Light Rail Trail. The light rain the night before had settled the dust on the limestone trail and it seemed a little smoother. Our halfway rest stop was the bench at 101, and then we proceeded past the Minnetonka Yacht Club boat basin, and up the hill to the Cottagewood Store. We enjoyed coffee and soft drinks on their patio before returning. We encountered two gaggles of geese on the trail. The geese parents guarded their goslings as we passed, and we returned to the Community Center.
