We had 27 Explorer riders for our All-Club ride and picnic today. We rode 16 miles, completing the Cedar Lake Trail loop plus a loop around Lake of the Isles. One group went counterclockwise and the other went clockwise. Surprisingly, we never crossed paths with the other group! One group remembered to take a photo, and one group forgot. 🫤
We dodged at least a dozen wooly caterpillars trying to make their way across our path.
All the ride groups enjoyed conversation, pizza and root beer floats at the park after our rides. A beautiful day to celebrate the end of summer, and almost the end of our official riding season. Two more scheduled rides are on the Explorers calendar.
