Eight Ramblers enjoyed a cool, sunny day for a fast, hilly, 31-mile route that swung around Silver Lake, Lotus Lake, Lake Lucy and Lake Minnewashta. We used neighborhood roads and trails to detour around Galpin Blvd. reconstruction. The repaving of Manor Rd. is finished and is buttery smooth. Many roadside trails are in rough condition now. We stayed on low traffic roads for the most part. Tree cover protected us from most headwinds. Tailwinds helped push us home. We had a total elevation ascent of 1,527 ft. and an average moving speed for the whole ride of 12.8 mph.
