In contrast to the all-day rain yesterday, 21 Explorer riders received picture perfect weather for our ride this Tuesday. We saw plenty of water however, as we followed paths along the Mississippi River and Shingle creek. The creek was full and running rapidly and it flowed heavily over the waterfall.
We also saw temporary lakes on soccer fields, baseball fields, and golf courses. Thanks MaryAnn & Brenda for figuring out ways to guide us alongside the water and not into it! This is a route that hasn't been on our Explorer schedule for several years, so it was a new experience for most of today's riders.
