Six riders left the trailhead and rode west on the Luce Line trail. The previous days of rain had settled the dust on the trail and we maneuvered around puddles and wet spots. We encountered a grade school group on a nature walk on the way to the park. After resting at the picnic shelter we returned to the trailhead. We enjoyed ice cold lemonade at the back of the ride leader’s truck.
