Explorers Blossom Ride 5/14/2024

Thirty riders broke up into 3 groups to enjoy the scenic route from Lake Harriet to Minnehaha Falls and back. The trail winds along the lovely Minnehaha Creek culminating at the rushing Minnehaha Falls. Last year's mear trickle and subsequent dried up falls due to drought was a distant memory. The end-of-ride view of the almost completely restored Lake Harriet Bandshell with its original blue-gray color scheme was beautiful! Water, water everywhere from the beginning of our ride to the end.
We just missed the peak of the tree blossoms, but we got a perfect sunshiny day with calm winds, so you can't ask for more than that!
